Recently, along with my brother, I spent a glorious early winter morning on a small part of Bodmin moor in the company of a Harris Hawk named Storm, I had been gifted this experience following many years of promising myself that I would one day go hunting with a Hawk. Storm’s owner Sharon not only allows you every opportunity to see how good Storm is in action, but also gives you a glove to realise how breath taking it can be to have Hawk such as Storm fly towards you. There were plenty of photo opportunities & Sharon shared many interesting stories along with educating us on all there is to know about Hawking.
I must say we were very lucky with the weather; it certainly wouldn’t have been the same if it had been cloudy & overcast.
It is an experience I won’t forget & most definitely one I’d like to repeat.
